A battery that keeps dying is usually not the battery. It is often the alternator failing to charge it. A car that clicks but will not turn over is usually the starter. We test before we replace, because a new battery fitted to a bad alternator will die too.

Questions we are asked
I have already replaced the battery twice. What is going on?
Two batteries in quick succession usually means the alternator is not charging properly, or something is draining the car overnight. Both are testable.
Can an alternator be replaced where my car is parked?
On most cars, yes. Where the alternator is buried deep in the engine bay we collect the car, do it at the garage and return it.
Is a whining noise always the alternator?
No, but a whine that rises and falls with engine speed is a strong sign. Testing the charging output settles it in minutes.
Can you jump start me and test at the same time?
Yes. The jump start gets you running, and the test tells you whether it will start again tomorrow.
